Ebba’s dad slowly opened Ebba’s bedroom door. It was about seven in the morning and Ebba was still asleep. Her dad smiled and held back a chuckle when her saw his daughter sound asleep surrounded by all of her Pokémon. In fact there was so many that her twin bed looked like it was about to burst.  He had missed her so much and was glad to see her home, but it was just for a visit, he knew. Ebba snuggled Drizzle, her beloved glaceon, and Drizzle snuggled Emma, her umbreon daughter.

Ebba’s eyes gently opened as she stared up at the ceiling of her room. She smiled; she had missed her bed, her home, her dad, and her Pokémon.  Ebba lovingly petted Drizzle, and Drizzle opened her eyes.  “Good Morning.” Ebba said with a yawn. Drizzle yawned back and smiled. Today they were going up to Snowpoint Mountain, where Ace, Emma’s father and Drizzles much loved friend lived. He was an absol and guardian of the mountain and the forest that surrounded it.

Drizzle was a little worried though, Ace hadn’t seen Drizzle in a while, and he didn’t know about her tail. There had been an accident in Professor Willow’s lab, and now her tail had a fire like ghastly purple glow surrounding the tip. She had been turned into an ice/ghost type glaceon. Drizzle hoped Ace would still love her even if she was now weird.
Ebba stood up on her bed, careful not to step on any of her Pokémon.  “Good Morning!!!” Ebba sung. Her Pokémon woke up, all happy to see her.  Emma purred as she stretched. Ebba’s dad opened up the door, with a wide smile on his face. “Who wants pancakes?!?” Ebba jumped up and down, bouncing all the Pokémon with her. “WE DO!” She sung.  Her dad laughed then left to go make more pancakes.

After a breakfast of Oran berry pancakes with maple syrup, Ebba brushed and cleaned all her Pokémon.  Her Pokémon was the ones that she had raised in Shinoh, and Unova.  She loved every single one of them.  Ebba brushed her hair, it had grown to be long and her bangs kept getting in front of her eyes. Ebba bobby pinned some of her bangs to the side.  Then she slipped on a turtle neck and put on some warm pants. It was going to be a chilly trip up to Snowpoint Mountain, even though it was summer.
Ebba packed a bag with snacks and water, and tied a purple scarf around Drizzle and an Orange scarf around Emma. “Are you too ready to go see Ace?!?” Ebba said as she petted Emma. Emma grinned from ear to ear, while Ebba and Drizzle was gone in Unova Emma had gone off and visited him often but this would be a time with all of her family.

Ebba headed out the door, Emma and Drizzle fallowing.  Ebba’s Dad and Prof. Willow waved bye as they headed into the forest. Ebba, Emma, and Drizzle walked through the forest, and at lunch they ate quickly. They wanted to read Snowpoint Mountain before it got dark.
After a few hours they reached the edge of the forest to see the path To Snowpoint Mountain.  Even though it was summer patches of snow still covered the ground. A gust of chilly wind came by and made Ebba and Emma shiver but not Drizzle. Drizzle closed her eyes and enjoyed the crisp cold air.

The walked until they reached the edge of the mountain. Ebba stared up at the mountain searching for the familiar cave where Ace lived. Ebba smiled at Drizzle and Emma. “Are you two ready to climb the mountain?” Ebba said as she put on rock climbing gloves. Drizzle nodded, she was ready to climb the mountain, but was she ready to see Ace? Emma jumped onto a rock and smiled, she was ready to show off her mountain climbing skills she had learned from her dad.

“Oh? Emma are you going to climb up this mountain all by yourself? Are you sure you don’t want to ride in my backpack?” Ebba asked Emma. Emma responded by hoping onto a small rock further up the mountain. Ebba laughed, “Wow! Look at Emma go! Drizzle she’s going to show you up if you don’t hurry!” Ebba grabbed onto a rock and pulled herself up.

The three of them climbed the edge of the mountain, going higher and higher until they reached a large ledge leading to the cave entrance. As Ebba caught her breathe, Drizzle stared into the cave remembering the joy of being with Ace.  Drizzle stepped into the cave, her tail shining in the darkness and icicles dripping all around.

Her heart skipped a beat as she saw the shine of ice blue eyes illuminate from the darkness. A mighty Absol with battle scars stepped out from the dark. Around his neck shone a coin that a trainer had given him to thank him for saving her life. “G-glaceon.” Drizzle whispered to him. Ace stopped in his tracks, staring at the glaceon.
This glaceon was unlike any other he had ever met. She was stronger, and more beautiful than any other in his eyes.  He slowly walked up to her to see tears in her eyes.

“Absol.” He placed his paw on hers and licked her face. Drizzle stared into his eyes, and he stared back into her. Suddenly Emma hopped in between them, “Umbree!” She sang happily.  “Hey Ace!” Ebba said as she ducked into the cave, trying not to hit any icicles. Ace nodded at Ebba, happy to see her to.

Later the next day Ebba left the three of them to go into Snowpoint city to visit her friend Candice, Snowpoint city’s gym leader and the first gym Ebba had defeated… also to give Drizzle and Ace some alone time. A couple of days later Ebba briskly climbed up the mountain, eager to see Drizzle.

Drizzle met Ebba on the ledge where Ebba scooped up Drizzle, “DRIZZLE! I missed you sooooooo much!!! I know it was only a couple of days but I thought I was going to die! I love you!” Ebba whimpered. Drizzle smiled and licked Ebba’s face, to say she missed her too. Ace smiled softy at the two of them. Emma stared up at Ebba, and Ebba scooped her up to. Ebba danced with her friends in her arms, and danced with Ace, who tried to refuse at first but Ebba convinced him too.

Later as they were eating lunch in the cave Drizzle gently grabbed Ebba’s sleeve with her mouth. “What is it? Do you not like your poffins?” Ebba asked. Drizzle led Ebba over into the corner of the cave where there was a round object.  Ebba stared intently at it. “Is that what I think it is?” Ebba asked Drizzle. Drizzle blushed and nodded.
Ebba gently picked up the Pokémon egg and nested it gently in between her arms. “Hello there new friend.”

Ebba, Emma, Drizzle, and the egg went home the next day, with the egg carefully riding in Ebba’s back pack. As soon as they got there Ebba showed her dad and Prof. Willow the egg. “Wow, that doesn’t look like any eevee egg I’ve ever seen, and it’s not an absol egg either.” Ebba’s dad, a Pokémon breeder, said. “May I?” Prof. Willow asked Drizzle as she reached for the egg. Drizzle nodded, but watched intently. Prof. Willow gently placed the egg on a pillow underneath a Pokémon scanner. She turned it on and after it scanned it paper after paper of information came out. Prof. Willow skimmed over the papers.

“Uhh… well, it’s definitely an eevee egg. But it’s reading as a normal and ghost type.” “Is that even possible?” Ebba’s dad asked picking up a paper. “Well, Drizzle turned into a ghost/ice type so it looks like the baby will be half ghost type to.” Ebba glanced at Drizzle. Drizzle didn’t mind, Ace had loved her as ghost/ice type so she would love the baby regardless.

“Oh! I can’t wait to meet our new friend!” Ebba said hugging the egg.
